Joe is the head of Avascent’s London office, where he supports strategic and private equity clients pursuing organic and inorganic growth strategies.
Since joining the firm in 2012, Joe has managed 40+ projects and advised European and US clients operating in a variety of defense and commercial markets. Recent projects have included major strategic transformations, capture support for critical campaigns, international growth strategy and go-to-market plans, and directly overseen buy-side due diligence engagements for transactions totaling £15B+ in value. Joe has broad experience in military platforms and weapons systems, commercial aircraft, defense systems and electronics, and aftermarket and other government services.
Prior to joining Avascent, Mr. Walsh was a Legal Assistant at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, where he assisted clients with challenges ranging from Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations to anti-trust reviews of proposed mergers and acquisitions in the aerospace sector.
He graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University with a B.S. in Foreign Service.
